monthly wrap up

January Reading Stats

It took me until the 7th February to realise that I hadn’t done a reading stats post for January, which is amazing considering January was 27,000 years long so I had plenty of time to think about it. I finished 8 books in January, which is overall a pretty standard number for me. At the moment I’m definitely finding myself drawn to longer, more intense books for the most part so whilst my reading is kind of slowing down in terms of ‘books finished’ I think my pages read is probably up? That is something I’m going to try to keep track of better as I’m veering towards longer books at the moment.

In total this month I read one ARC from NetGalley, 2 books I already owned, 4 books on Scribd and one audiobook. I’m hoping to get through a few more of my already owned books, and start visiting the library again, hopefully next month will have a bit more variety than mostly Scribd.

I read 2714 pages, since I don’t really have any a marker to by I suppose I’ll have more thoughts on this next month and this is a kind of base number for me.

I’m happy with my mix of genres this month as well, whilst I finished a series of YA fantasy books I’ve also got some classics and non-fiction in there too!

How was your January? It was never-ending, right? At least we are out of it now!
